The Guiding Principles and Behaviors of Millionaire Christian Entrepreneurs

Updated: Jan 9, 2021

"Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads." (Deuteronomy 11:18 NIV)

Many bible verses stress the importance of memorizing scripture because when you say things out loud to yourself every single day, the thoughts slowly implant themselves in your way of thinking and you begin to exchange the way you used to think to a new way of thinking – God’s thoughts.

So, if you want to think like a wealthy Millionaire, you have to begin to repeat verses to yourself that are Millionaire thoughts.

The author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind offers some like this:

“I have a millionaire mind.”

“My money works hard for me and earns more and more.”

“I get rich doing what I love.”

“I deserve to be rich because I add value to other people’s lives.”

“I am a generous giver and excellent receiver.”

These statements remind me of verses that I repeat to myself a lot like.

“The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.” (Psalms 115:14)
“On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come, no collections will have to be made.” (1 Corinthians 16:2)
“Carefully follow the terms of this covenant, so that you may prosper in everything you do.” (Deuteronomy 29:9)
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” (Psalms 24:1)

“The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” (Psalms 34:10)

“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” (Deuteronomy 8:18)
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosper.” (John 1:2)
“Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.” (Proverbs 22:4)
“The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.” (Proverbs 10:22)

Of course, we can’t expect just to read, memorize, and repeat verses.

"We must be doers of the Word." (James 1:22)

We must launch that business idea, pursue that bigger contract, and go after our next growth opportunity by continuing to repeat our new money verses over and over.

We also have to train ourselves to make better money decisions using our new statements. It’s in training and practicing that we’ll solidify our new mindset. For example, I’m a SPENDER. When I get money, I spend it. With money always being spent, it’s difficult to save. So I’ve memorized a statement that serves me in my particular faults:

“I’m more excited about saving money than spending money.”

And the bible says:

“The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get.”(Proverbs 21:20)

This one has helped me make better buying decisions while browsing Amazon.com or visiting the Mall. It’s even helped me while negotiating new contracts. I’ve changed to FEEL excited about saving because of this one statement emotionally.

Imagine if all of us Godpreneurs constantly affirmed our thoughts by taking concrete measures behind the verbal repetition so we can unlearn all the thinking patterns that were not serving us, and we began to act like the Kingdom royal inheritors that we are – Millionaires!.

Godpreneur Rule: Godpreneurs memorize and repeat Bible verses that help us grow personally and in business.
