Let’s face it, as entrepreneurs it’s our natural instinct to rely on ourselves. We envision, we create, we destroy. It’s what we’re born to do.
So when I began to discover that God had an entrepreneurial vision for my life, I didn’t jump out of my chair to follow it. No, I maintained control. After all, I couldn’t just dump everything I was doing to follow.
And I don’t think God wanted that either.
Instead, through faith and following Christ, God’s power began to work in my business life and circumstances.
Today’s bible reading for me was something I needed to share. In 2 Thessalonians 1:11, Paul writes “With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith”.
The apostle Paul knew that faith is the key to an entrepreneur’s obedient life. Faith let’s us persevere in the onslaught of opposition, in the times of turmoil. Faith is connected to the power that will fuel the pursuit of your vision, His purpose for our entrepreneurial lives.
Constantly tap into a power that far exceeds our business abilities and human will.
Stay faithful, and God’s entrepreneurial vision for your life will come to fruition.
