Whoever Said “Chase Your Dreams” is Dumb

I’m not kidding, but the guy who quoted “Don’t Follow Your Dreams, Chase Them” is a gentleman by the name of Richard Dumb (look it up, not kidding).
And there’s no coincidence here….because it’s plain dumb thinking. In fact, you’re supposed to follow your dreams and STOP chasing them.
When I hear the word chase, I get a negative connotation. Most of the time I’m using or hearing the word chase, it's in a bad way. Chasing means something is running away from me.
We’re all chasing something, right? We chase our dreams, we chase the girl or boy, we chase for the next accomplishment.
But what does God say about chasing?
Proverbs 12:11 says:
Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.
Instead of chasing after God, we should be working on the current assignment he has given us.
Instead of chasing after money, we should be working the current income we’ve been blessed with.
Instead of chasing after the next shiny bright object in your entrepreneurial career and in your business, you should be working the current business you’ve been given.
Land back in the day was inherited. So it was understood that you work your inheritance, which was given to you free from being part of the family. It was your birth right.
And when we as Godpreneurs take up our calling to follow the entrepreneurial steps God has ordained for us, we too inherit a land (business) to work.
